At Ages & Stages, we believe in nurturing every aspect of your child's development. Our holistic approach to quality care includes creative play curriculum, social and emotional learning, and fun explorative activities to build confident individuals.

We are a Legacy Family Childcare home! Our founder, Amentha, known as E-mah, sought a more autonomous career path that aligned with her love of children. E-mah created Ages and Stages Childcare as an environment where children are safe and seen. Quiana and Ashlee have continued to enhance this space in order to provide equitable opportunities for children in our community.

Quiana Nichols

Director

With a deep passion for nurturing and supporting the growth of children, Quiana has dedicated her career to improving the lives of young learners and her families. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), Quiana blends a strong foundation in healthcare with a heartfelt commitment to early childhood education.

A licensed childcare director and a proud member of the National Associations for Family Child Care, Quiana brings over 25 years of experience in early childhood care and education to the role. In addition, Quiana is a certified Child Development Associate (CDA), ensuring a high standard of care, growth, and learning for every child entrusted to her care.

Outside of work, Quiana enjoys spending quality time with her spouse and four children, as well as exploring new books and traveling to new destinations. Whether in the classroom or on an adventure, Quiana is dedicated to making a positive impact on children and her families.

Ashlee Patton

Co-Director

With a deep passion for fostering the growth and development of children, Ashlee is dedicated to providing exceptional care and education to young learners. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Harris-Stowe State University and is a licensed childcare director, currently pursuing an advanced director’s license to further enhance her expertise.

In addition to her director’s license, Ashlee a certified Child Development Associate (CDA), reflecting her commitment to the highest standards in early childhood education. As a proud mother of two, she brings a personal understanding of the needs of families and children, which fuels her drive to create a nurturing and enriching environment.

A proud member of the National Associations for Family Child Care, Ashlee is always seeking ways to grow professionally and serve her community. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys shopping for sneakers, exploring new cuisines, traveling, and organizing—activities that help her unwind and find balance. Through her work and passions, Ashlee strives to make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of children and families.
